What it does

  • Practice Exams in your school's style

Timed papers that follow the published format, in 45 school and area styles. The questions are our own.

  • Homework and writing marked from a photo

Your child works on paper, you take a photo, and Professor Hoot marks it with feedback you can print.

  • A weekly progress report

A plain-English summary for grown-ups of what went well and what to practise next.

More features
  • Talk to Professor Hoot. Your child can ask out loud or type, and hear a real answer back.
  • Ready for your target school? A readiness score built from the subjects and paper format your target uses.
  • Your school spelling list, learnt properly. Snap the weekly list; words come back on later days until they stick.
  • Comprehension and creative writing. Passages and story prompts to do on paper, marked from a photo.
  • Games and rewards. Stars, streaks and a daily plan keep practice going.
  • Works offline. Once it has been opened on your device with a signal, everyday practice keeps working in the car, on a train or with weak Wi-Fi. AI help and photo marking need the internet.

Who's behind it

Eleven Plus Academy is an independent, UK-based 11+ practice app, not a big company. Everything on it is tried out with real children preparing for the 11+ and changed when something isn't working. Messages to support get a real reply from the person who runs it, not a call centre.

Questions parents ask

How does the free trial work?

You enter a parent email address and your child's first name, and the full app is open for 7 days. No payment details are asked for. When the trial ends the app carries on with 20 free questions a day on each device (shared by your children) unless you choose to subscribe.

Is it an official exam board or does it use real past papers?

No. Eleven Plus Academy is independent. Its practice exams copy the published format of each school's or area's test (the papers, timings and question types), but every question is written by us. They are not real past papers.

Is it safe for children?

There is no chat with other people, no adverts inside the app and no social features. Children are known only by a first name. Messages a child types are checked for personal details before they are sent to the AI, and worrying messages get a kind reply pointing to a trusted adult and Childline.

How do I cancel?

Open the Progress Report and choose Manage subscription. You are taken to a secure Stripe page where you can cancel or change your payment details. You can also email support@rayos11plus.com. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
